In 2020 Politecnico di Torino/DAD and Torino Stratosferica launched a PhD program in “Architecture. History and Project”.
Urban transformations concern so many dimensions that it is not possible to fully grasp it from a single perspective or a single disciplinary approach. They indeed lie at the crossroads of bottom-up and top-down, material and symbolic processes.
In this perspective, the research focuses on an experimental practice in the current urban studies scenario: the approach based on “City Imaging”, developed by the Turin based association Torino Stratosferica, along with the original contents created from 2014 to today.
